First opened in 1987, with a professional tournament, the Golf del Sur Golf Course (27 holes) has hosted since then many competitions at the highest international level. During the years 1989, 1992, 1993 and 1994 it hosted the Tenerife Open, belonging to the PGA European Volvo Tour, with victories of José Maria Olazábal in its first two editions and of David Gilford and Mark James, in the following years. In 1995, at Golf del Sur took place the Shell Wonderful World of Golf Tournament, where they confronted each other Ernie Els and Phil Mickelson.

This typical Canarian house has its origin in a fruit canning factory founded in the mid-nineteenth century by the Spanish trader D. Maximum Cutillas. The house was expanded with a second floor in 1892 with the birth of Assumption, one of nine children of D. Maximum, most of whom emigrated to America. Years later, the housepassed into the hands of Dr. Lujan, husband of Asunción, who becomes a place ofleisure, recreation and housing for the next generations of Cutillas. The current owners, in homage to their ancestors, have become a cozy farmhouse, full of historyand memories, retaining many elements of the old building, among which the oldstone mill and the tank yard become gazebo, next to which is added a pool. The building houses three rooms of 400m, two with one bedroom, living-dining-kitchen, bathroom and terrace with two bedrooms, living-dining-kitchen, bathroom and terrace, and a family home that currently is not being used . The presence of many objects that have been used by its residents for two centuries preserved with love and care give the room a feeling of contact with the daily life of the island in ancient times.
